Bv Metronidazole Yeast Infection

My Vaginal Discharge Smells Like Fish

My vaginal discharge smells like fish. I'm assuming this couldn't possibly bedue to a messy fish and chips dinner. No, way more intimate than someone constantlyspilling dinner in my lap. Then the most likely cause is due to an infection. I don't think I have a social disease. Well,I hope I don't have a sexual disease. If you have bacterial vaginosis caused bythe overgrowth of bacteria naturally down there, you can end up with a fishy odor. How could I have developed thaté

So much douching to remove any odor that youstripped away healthy bacteria, leaving the bad ones a fertile playground. If you said that about my digestive tract, the solution would be probiotics. If you have that type of discharge, you cantreat it by eating yogurt and hoping that circulates through your system to the vagina.Or you can take the direct route and put yogurt up there. That's as embarrassing to admit as a coloncleanse. You know that it is bacterial overgrowth ifit is worse after you have sex or if you're

suffering a UTI too. I don't see how a UTI could cause this. If you're wiping back to front, the poopbacteria that get into the urinary tract and cause a UTI will cause vaginosis too. What's a reason that doesn't have to dowith a playground being between two sewersé A fishy odor accompanied by a green dischargemeans you have trichomoniasis. It is sometimes called just trich, pronounced trick. *That I've heard of, but I don't knowanything about it.

Trichomoniasis is a protozoan infection, andit causes a sour or fishy smell. Then trich is a sexual disease. Yes, and they can cure it with antibiotics. What else could it beé If it smells like rotted meat down there, you may have forgotten a tampon. That's what can cause toxic shock syndrome. Yes, and rotted fish smells means you havethe vaginosis or severe yeast infection, plus the bacteria that can cause toxic shock syndrome.

Anything on that list necessitates gettingto a , and after which, only using ultrathick maxi pads. If the vaginal discharge smells bad and lookslike curds, you have a yeast infection. It is also more likely if the itching is bad, skin is red and it hurts when you pee or have sex. At least that I can treat with stuff fromthe store. And any other cause requires talking to a, yogurt or not.

Is A Vaginal Yeast Infection Caused By Bacteria

Hi, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of CandidaCrusher with another female FAQ. Is a vaginal yeast infection caused by bacteriaé No, a yeast infection is caused by yeast andnot bacteria. There's a clear difference between them both. So bacterial infections generallycause a condition called bacterial vaginosis. Candida albicans causes a condition calleda vaginal yeast infection or thrush. So there's a clear distinction between them both. Yeast infections are reasonably normally occurringin many women to a very minor degree where they don't really provide strong symptoms. And quite a high degree of women have Candida

albicans normally in the tissues in that partof the body. Some have more; some have less, but when it becomes a problem is when it'sovergrowing; it over proliferates. Bacteria are usually kept in check in thatarea, and there are bacteria that live in that part of the body, too. Corynebacterium, for example, are quite commonly found in vaginal tissue in the lining there of the vagina. And they don't usually cause a problem. Lactobacillus species are in there as well, beneficial bacteria.Other bacteria, however, are associated with vaginosis and particularly BV, or bacterialvaginosis. I've spoken about this previously. It causes more of a gray, profuse, watery,a fishy briny sort of discharge; whereas the

vaginal infection is a different infectionaltogether. Both can create an itch, and a vaginal itch is more incessant and can driveyou crazy compared to the bacterial vaginosis. Getting checked out is important here, sogo to your gynecologist or and ask to be swabbed and checked out, so you knowwhat you're dealing with then you can treat it accordingly. You can read a lot more about these conditionsin my book, Candida Crusher, particularly Chapter 5 on chronic vaginal infections. InChapter 3 under diagnosis, I go into great detail more so about the different types ofvaginal infections and inflammations. You

can read a lot more about this. I talk aboutthe medical treatments in my book, the natural treatments, and give you lots of solutionson how to deal with this problem. So be sure to get a copy and have a good read there. So vaginal yeast infection is caused by yeastand not bacteria, so I hope that answers your question. Thank you.

Side Effects Of Fluconazole

Thank you for tuning into my tutorial today.Today I'm going to talk about Fluconazole. Fluconazole is a pharmaceutical antifungaldrug. It's also known by the name of Diflucan. Fluconazole is also present in a vaginal creamcalled Canesten that many women tend to use. I've seen many patients over the years who'vetaken Diflucan. Some with reasonably good success, but in most case, the drug has beentaken recurrently with very, very poor longterm results. The best result you're going to get from any pharmaceutical drug usually is the very firsttime you take it. The body's not used to the drug. It will have a powerful effect and givethe desired result. But then what happens

is the drug is discontinued, so then the symptomscome back, and the drug is used again and again and again. And eventually, the bodybuilds resistance to Diflucan. The resistance is well documented.I've seen some patients who take this drug weekly or monthly for years on end with badresults. And in many cases, they end up with significant side effects, particularly hepaticor liver side effects because Diflucan affects Phase II or the glucoronidation pathway ofthe liver and it can make a person quite nauseous or sick. They can get skin reactions. Theycan get headaches. They can get insomnia. They can get a whole range of different sideeffects from Diflucan.

I've got a pharmaceutical drug guide hereand I'm going to read out some of the common side effects of Diflucan or fluconazole. Sideeffects include gastrointestinal upset, headaches, elevated liver function test, abnormal vision, skin odor, skin rashes, hot flashes, weakness, thirst, shaking in the body, polyuria, whichmeans urinating a lot, renal pain or pain in the lower pain, kidney pain, dizziness, seizures, skin itching, sweating, fevers, drug eruptions, more skin rashes, sleepingdisturbances and insomnia, nervousness, pain, female sexual dysfunction, menstrual disorders, respiratory disorders, deafness, heartburn, high blood pressure, liver damage. Why thehell would you want to take a drug that creates

all these problems just to give you some temporaryrelief from a vaginal yeast infection or some kind of a yeast infection you might haveéThere are natural ways you can get on top of these infections without resorting to drugs.Have a look at yeastinfection for some natural solutions. If you're thinking aboutan antifungal drug and you want to get some results but don't want the side effects withit, have a look at the product I developed called Canxida. It's going to be more powerfulthan fluconazole. You don't need to take it for years on end. You're not going to getall of these side effects that I've just read out here. It's certainly worth a shot.Think about it. If you're going to take fluconazole,

take it once, but don't take it recurrently. There's no point in it. You're wasting your time doing that. You're only going to getdrug resistance and also liver toxicity from taking it.I hope that answers a frequently asked question I get on this particular drug fluconazole.Thank you for tuning in.
